"Our biological process system was designed and sized by ECO PROCESS & EQUIPMENT inc. back in 1993. The technology was based on ECO's BioSequencer^TM system which utilizes a "time controllable" process suitably adapted to variable organic and hydraulic industrial loads.

In addition, ECO provided the mixing, aeration and effluent withdrawal equipment as well as the logic controls. Furthermore, they have provided the process instrumentation required for their biological approach such as D.O. and flow controllers.

We are very satisfied with the equipment as well as the biological treatment performances which consistently reduce the organic loads within the Environmental Ministry's criteria. Our average effluent quality contains between 10 and 20 mg/L of BOD, ammonia (NH₃) is reduced by 95% and phosphorus is less than 1.0 mg/L.
