Unique Biological Design Approach.

Eco Process has been engaged in
biological processes since its beginning in 1978, dealing with a wide variety of domestic
and industrial wastewater applications. With time, we have developed a very unique design
approach based on microbiology. This approach goes beyond the one currently used by most
companies restrained to hydraulics aspect only without devoting enough attention to the
microbiology. At Eco Process, we fully recognize that "only the bacteria are
responsible for the removal of the organic pollutants", not the equipment or anything
else.... This is why in our design, we prioritize the bacterial activities and each
project is analyzed using our "BIGMAC" computerized program which is based on
the analysis of the "reactional mass balance of the solids vs detention times of the
solids and the wastewater in the reactor". This approach utilizes the specific
biokinetic coefficients particular to each wastewater as well as its complete
characterization. This unique design approach is scientifically sound and allows to size
the reactor correctly for better performances and, most important, to understand better
what we do.
Experience in Bioprocesses and Equipment Design.
|
|
Since its foundation, our company has realized numerous biological treatment plants for which we have provided the process design, the equipment and the technical assistance for the treatment plant commissioning. We have a solid experience particularly with Sequencing Batch Reactors (SBR), and also with conventional process such as Aerated Lagoons, Activated Sludge plants and Trickling Filters. The prime interest of our company is in the most modern SBR processes. The accompaning illustrations are clear indication of the evolution of our SBR-BioSequencer technology over the past 21 years.
Implementation Capacity.

Eco has engaged its staff in a Total Quality Management
Program since September 1993. Our implementation capabilities include project design and
management procedures, CAD-assisted process design and engineering, quality control of the
material, equipment inspection and testing.
Service.

Commissioning our new plants and providing our
technical assistance for our clients are also a very important part of our implementation
capacity. Our design engineers and service technologists strive to attain the complete
satisfaction of our clients.
