BioSequencer™.

The first work performed by Eco Process, in attempting to develop a complete line of SBR processes, was to identify and classify all existing sequential treatment approaches in accordance with its respective process merits and performance potential to remove the pollutants (C, N, P) from the wastewater. Eco Process has developed such a classification system based on the essential design criteria such as the reactor feed mode, the hydraulic mode of operation and the ability of the sequential process to operate as a true-batch system for the best possible performances. This work was carried out by the Eco Processe's research team in 1993 who has subsequently developed a whole family of fill-draw SBR technologies along with the related equipment to best answer each applications. Since the completion of this work, a clear picture of the real performance of each SBR technology has been established allowing the engineers and clients to compare, evaluate and finally make a selection of BioSequencer™ system to use for a particular application.

A SBR process developed to treat the wastewater along with the excess sludge generated from the biological process for many years without having to haul away any sludge. This project utilizes an anaerobic reactor followed by SBR. This innovative and patented process is ideal for small plants (50 to 500 m3/d) and was developed by the Eco Process's research team in collaboration with the University of Montreal. The new process is commercialized since 1996.

A SRB process consist of two SBR reactors connected and operated in series so as to enhance the biological phosphorus elimination. The first SBR reactor is controlled in a fermentation mode of operation while the second one is controlled alternatively into anoxic, anaerobic and aerobic environments in accordance with a patented sequence process. This innovative process was developed by the Eco Process's research team in collaboration with the University of Montreal and other research partners. The new process is commercialized since 1997.

An innovated SBR process operating under simultaneous fill & decant mode using a dynamic hydraulic separation mode. The process permits to treat important flow from Cities with more compact concrete structure. The new process utilizes an innovative and patented operation sequence allowing several biological reactions and physical steps of the process to occur simultaneously. This innovative process was developed by the Eco Process's research team in collaboration with the McGill University in Montreal and other research partners. The new process is commercialized on an application base since 1999.
